There are things happening every day that we are unaware of. For instance, in our court systems there are legal proceedings going on every day. It is amazing to me how some extremely intelligent people can do some really crazy things and do them over and over again. Case and point would be my sister and her ongoing adventure with her keys. Of course these locksmiths do other things then let my sister get back in her car but I am certainly glad that they are there when she needs them. When we bought our home and traded out the locks for new ones they were there for that service as well. Letting my sister into her car is only a part time event for all of them.

Oh my gosh the other night I was just getting settled in to start watching all the wonderful things that I knew I had lined up on my DVR. I got my dinner ready and my glass of wine and got all wrapped up in my favorite throw and much to my dismay my DVR wasn’t working. Not working at all I tell you. I pulled up what should have been a glorious list of all of my favorite shows to watch and alas there were no shows. I almost cried in my soup. It turns out that all my shows were still stored on the box but they just weren’t showing up for some strange reason. Yay! Rejoice I can now watch back to back episodes of Whitney until my abs hurt from laughing! What? That isn’t how you workout your abs?

Our bodies are amazing tools. We are able to call upon them to do whatever we need from them as long as we are able to keep them functioning in the way they were designed. AS amazing as our bodies are they are subject to a variety of conditions and illnesses that leave us at the mercy of what ever we need to do to help them. One of those conditions is diabetes. Not that long ago we found ourselves in a place that we never thought we would be. When we moved to our new home we were all excited. We moved from the city to the country and have loved everything about our move. The kids in our neighborhood have been so welcoming to our children which has made it a smooth fit quickly. Everyone just stood there with their mouths open, even my son! Feeling as though it was a lucky shot he took another and then another and he never missed. It was not many ears ago that I became involved in the game of golf. We have spent many weekends on the course since we were both introduced to the game a few years ago by some great friends of ours. They had told us many times that we would enjoy playing the game. We were not certain so we did not take advantage of their invites for quite some time. After being asked repeatedly I went. We had so much fun that we now all go golfing on the weekends. We have been enjoying the great outdoors from the vantage point of many unique golf courses. Until we had the most amazing field trip through a large factory we were unaware of what all it took t run a fully functioning factory. The conveyers were gong at full pace and the machines were in full operation. The large machines worked so hard as we watched each piece of machinery do it’s job. It was simply one of the most fascinating things I have ever seen. It impacted me as well as the group that we were with. After our field trip we were given privy to eating a lunch in their lunch room. Some of the workers were in the lunch room as we were. They could hear us as we talked about the many things that got our attention in the tour. They came over to answer any questions and to give us light on things that we did not see. For instance, how do they clean such large machines and when. You could look at all of the equipment and know that there would have to be lot of greasing to make these machines work properly and smoothly. they explained to us that the factory does shut down and have an ultrasonic cleaning on all of the many parts that need to be cleaned and re-greased. They have ultrasonic cleaning equipment that does the job so they can get the equipment really clean faster then doing it by hand. The ultrasonic cleaner is there to get the smaller areas that can not be gotten by hand so well so the job is actually done better. Once completed the entire piece of equipment is reassembled and greased ready to go again. This is a process that happens several times a year throughout the factory. It is amazing when we find out exactly what all is involved in getting products out to us so we can have the benefit of them.
