Dreams and Facts

Anyone that has children will be able to associate with what I experienced when I went to a preschool recently. The children that were in the class were already learning so much it was amazing. When I thought about how advanced these children will be from the children that do not get this head start into learning I was amazed. I still remember my daughters first kindergarten teacher fussing at me because my daughter did not know enough to get into kindergarten! She failed scissors! She failed all of her colors and naming the primary ones! I was mortified. I did not know that I had to educate my child to get them into kindergarten. After all that is where I learned all of those things growing up. I get educated really fast as they say. Getting the children ready to begin their early education is actually a very important step that I was unaware of.  Once they are in places such as the appletree daycare they can begin learning from the things that we have taught them at home before they begin schooling. The CT daycare and the CT preschool are great places for children to begin their journeys into education. it is important that we build a solid foundation into learning for our children so they can excel as they pass through all of the many things that life will throw at them. We want them to be successful and that is done and achieved through learning. Being a home school teacher now I know how important learning is. We have had many years of very successful learning practices. Understanding the importance of getting our children ready for life is what keeps us motivated to educate them in everything they do. Making everything about learning is how we move forward.
