DREAM..From the time we are very young we realize how important life can be. We see how life changes as we grow older. Although while we are very young we can not wait until we get older so we can do all of the things that the older kids get to do. Once we realize how fast time passes we no longer wish away our years. We get excited about the milestones and we treasure each memory. That promise of the future and the appreciation of each day is what makes getting birth announcements so exciting. There is something so new about expanding our families. It is fun to wait with anticipation on a little one that we want to meet. We do not know what they will look like but we speculate. We do not know what they will act like but we speculate on that as well. What we do know is they will be loved and on that there is no speculation. We have a scrapbook we keep of the many announcements and invitations we receive. To us they represent events that have brought our family and friends together. Each time we add a new one we find ourselves flipping through the pages laughing about the events that we have shared in the past. We are reminded of the good times from a single invitation which is why they are so special to us. Many times we get so busy we do not think about the fun times in the past but when we see the invitations we manage to stop if only for a moment and talk about it remembering things we had not thought about in a long time. We always close our scrapbook while smiling.

When we first moved to our home in the country we did not know that much about what it would take to run our hobby farm. Gosh, can you believe the economy is finally picking back up? I’m in real estate and it’s been a rough couple of years for me but thankfully I’ve gotten into the rental market and things are starting to turn around for me. I spent a lot of time restructuring the business – I had to let go my assistant and I even gave up my office space so I could start working from home and save some money there. I just don’t know how some people do it! When you have decided to start your own business that is just step number one. Our friends had wanted to start a business for many years. There are so many occasions to wear boots. Boots are actually a staple in some areas of life. We found that out when we bought our new home. We bought a small farm just to enjoy as a hobby. We had always wanted to have a small farm but we decided that sooner was better then later. When the day is done we have far put in a hard days work and we love it. I work in the city throughout the week but my heart is back home and stays there until I pull back in my drive.

When I look at the trade show displays of today they are certainly different then they were years ago. The displays today are well designed so you can easily carry them and assemble them.
