Unless you operate in side the world of handicap people it is difficult to imagine how complex their world truly is. Once my mother had a stroke we became familiar with this world very quickly. We were put into learning about things and operating different things that we had never known existed. The experience made us so much more appreciative to what all is involved in a handicap life style. We learned about handicap scooters and motorized wheelchair and how to operate them as well as transport them. We had to learn about bariatric equipment and how to use it as well. There were many things that we found ourselves searching online for just to see if this product was made that would meet our needs. We found everything we needed online as well as a lot of information. It reminded us daily that we were not alone in these sometimes frustrating and always rewarding times. It was a journey that we all had to go on that none of us saw coming. It certainly makes you even more aware of how precious time truly is and how appreciative we should all be that do not have to operate in the world of a handicapped person. With a lot of hard work our mom has been able to deal with her new life but it has not been an easy road for her. The many devices that have been created by the people that went before us on this same journey have proven to be very helpful in giving our mom some of her independence back which is important to anyone on a road to healing. The internet proved to be a big help in everything we needed to assist our mom when she needed it and continues to give us product incite when we need it as well as product availability.
