If you are wanting to make a difference in the world and you will have completed an undergraduate degree by 2011 in the STEM fields and graduated with a 3.0 or higher there is an opportunity for you to get a master’s degree for $30,000 in teaching. You may qualify for this program if you are changing careers as well and have a degree in the STEM fields. The Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellows program has 14 participating universities. If teaching is what you are choosing for your career path you can complete a field based intense master’s degree in teacher’s education. You have to commit to teaching for at least three years in a high need school where teachers are needed the most. You will receive mentoring and intense classroom support during your time in the classroom. This is an opportunity to help those students that need the most help and also to further your education. You will be making a difference in a child’s life by helping them with their learning foundation. There are few things more rewarding then that. There is a deadline to this program and it is September 1. You must apply by September 1 to be able to take advantage of this program so you can begin helping others.
