When it comes time to buy eyeglasses people automatically know they are going to have a large bill. It seems that we have just become accustomed to paying too much for eyeglasses. This no longer has to be the case. I read an article about a company that has figured out a way to sell eyeglasses at a cheap price. Zenni Optical does not carry all of the overpriced brands that can run your eyeglass bill higher in fact they do not carry any name brand. They make their own eyeglasses out of the current and modern materials that everyone is wanting their eyeglasses made from. They have fashionable styles and they are not fashionably priced. They are able to control the quality of their products and the price of them as well because there is no middleman. This is a big way to save but there is another way. They also do not advertise. By not advertising and counting on their customers to advertise for them they also save costs. Everyone knows if a customer is satisfied with their purchase they will tell others. This is how you build a customer base. One satisfied customer after another.

Thank you for a very clear and helpful post. I am definitely a violator of many of these rules. I often find myself conflicted when writing a blog post because I see myself writing more than people want to read, but I feel that I have to do the subject matter justice by thoroughly covering it. I feel that by following some of these rules I end up cutting out important aspects to the discussion. I guess you have to find a balance.
